 Jamie Costello, OD

After graduating with a B.S. from Eastern Illinois University in 1988, Dr. Jamie Costello completed a doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1992. She also did an externship at the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital on Chicago's south side in that same year with a focus on ocular disease. She is licensed to treat and manage eye disease as of 1992. She has worked in ophthalmologic and optometric practice settings and enjoys treating eye disease, challenging contact lens fits, and geriatric optometry. She is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.
Jamie enjoys music, sings, and plays the saxophone, flute and piano. She loves dancing, jogging, rollerblading, tennis, and her miniature pinschers - Arthur and Zoe.

Dr. Costello received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1988, and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1992. While studying optometry, he completed an externship at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Costello provided eye care in Bloomfield, NJ from 1992-1996, and in Howell since 1996.
He enjoys the outdoors; hiking, exploring, fishing, as well as landscaping, collecting, and maintaining rare plants.
